Arthelps in IRAQ

Thousands of people live in a refugee camp near the Iraqi city of Mosul. They have all left their homes to protect themselves from guns and hatred.
The people in the vast refugee camp yearn more and more for safety, comfort, and carefree everyday life – especially the youngest ones. We created places in the camp where children and young people can unleash their creativity. Quiet places where they can process what has happened to them and find new strength.

About

ARTHELPS is an initiative of creative people and artists who help people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in a unique way: with art. With various creative projects, we offer them a stage on which they can discover their artistic potential and live it out.
And we give them a voice: through the dissemination of their newly formed artwork the messages of the participants are communicated to a welcoming audience.
